FPL Peek guide
How to Use FPL Peek: A Practical Workflow From Deadline to Deadline
A complete walkthrough of FPL Peek: My Team, Planner, Scout, Captain Picks, Transfer Stats, Price Watch, Fixtures, League Analyzer and Live Center.
FPL Peek is a planning layer, not your FPL account
FPL Peek is designed to help you inspect public FPL data, compare options and simulate decisions. It does not ask for your official FPL password and it does not submit transfers, captain changes or chips to the official game.
That separation is intentional. Use the workspace to explore a decision, then make the final change on Fantasy Premier League when you are satisfied.
Step 1: load My Team
Enter your public FPL Team ID to load the squad and recent Gameweek information. Start by checking who actually played, captain returns, bench points and any obvious availability problems.
The Home page also surfaces current Gameweek context such as top performers and live match information when relevant, so you can see the wider Gameweek before focusing only on your own score.
Step 2: inspect fixtures and weak spots
Open Fixtures & Results and look several Gameweeks ahead. Then use Players or Scout to compare replacements for the weakest positions. The goal is to create a shortlist, not immediately make a transfer.
If two players look close, Player Compare can put their recent numbers, price and fixture context side by side.
Step 3: simulate before committing
Use Gameweek Planner or Team Builder to model transfers and line-ups. Check whether a move creates future benching headaches, blocks a premium route or leaves too little flexibility for the next deadline.
Planner changes are simulations only. This makes it safe to test aggressive ideas without affecting your real squad.
Step 4: check the market
Transfer Stats shows the official flow of managers buying and selling players. Price Watch and Price Change Prediction add market context. Treat predictions as estimates and use them mainly when a possible price move would affect whether your plan remains affordable.
Do not let the market replace your analysis. A popular transfer can still be wrong for your team.
Step 5: decide captaincy separately
Use Captain Picks after your transfer plan is mostly settled. Compare the safe, upside and differential options, then consider minutes, penalties, fixture and your own risk preference.
Because captaincy doubles the score, it deserves a final decision rather than being an afterthought.
Step 6: learn from the Gameweek
During matches, Live Center and Home show what is happening now. After the Gameweek, use your recap and League Analyzer to understand where points were won or lost.
The useful question is not “what should I have done?” with hindsight. Ask whether the original decision process used the best information available at the deadline, then carry that lesson into the next week.
